I really hope they can figure something out.
Agreed. It’s a wonderful museum and a real slice of history. Nothing else like it.
There was a story the other day, I think in the New York Times, that many museums and historic sites coast to coast are facing terrible financial issues and possible permanent closures. Appears there will be bad news culturally in all 50 states. It also featured the news that art museums all over are basically having fire sales with pieces from their collections, simply to raise some cash in the interim.
It's a great museum. However, it involves the visitors being in confined spaces with others.
Hopefully, they can get through the pandemic and resume when things are better.
Imagine what those tenements were like during the last pandemic ( or any other time)? Yikes.
It’s a great museum but very tight quarters. I hope they work something out.
